October 2024 Grape Nuts

2022 Lodi Primitivo Rosé

Our partnership with the Lerner family, long time Lodi growers, continues to pay dividends. Made in a dry style, this silky-smooth Rose’ is made from the Primitivo grape, a relative of Zinfandel. Floral and peach flavors abound in this mid-weight and refreshing Rose’.

Enjoy now or age for one to two years.

2022 Connecticut Pinot Gris

2022 brought challenging growing conditions in Connecticut. We were happy to be able to bring in a small harvest of Pinot Gris. To add breadth to the mouth feel, aging was done for a few months in old Chardonnay barrels, before being finished in stainless steel. This lends a vanilla / almond character and some weight to the wine. A clean bouquet of fresh hay and apples delights.

Enjoy now or age for one year.

2020 Lodi Zinfandel

Our Zinfandel continues to be sourced from the Harney Lane Ranch in Lodi. Lodi grows a lot of Zinfandel, and producers are creating some beautiful wines from that region. Our Zin has been aged for 2 ½ years in large format French oak barrels to allow for the softening of the wine and integration of the toasty oak nuances. Having aged for over a year in bottle, this wine is in its’ prime right now.

Drink now or age for 2-3 years.

May 2024 JEds Reds

Stone Table Red

Our ever popular red blend consists of 77% Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% each of Lodi Zinfandel and Napa Petite Sirah and 7% Napa Merlot. This is a complex and heady red wine. Packed with a broad range of flavors, the signature element is a smooth, robust red wine with an easy finish

Drink now or age for 3-5 years.

2021 Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon

This full bodied Cab is refined and well balanced. Aromas of fresh earth, black currents and cranberry tempt as two years of barrel aging frame the structure and fruit on this approachable Cab. Light toasty oak nuances and dusty tannins leave the palate clean and ready for another sip.

Drink now or age for 5-8 years.

2021 Estate Cabernet Franc

The 2021 growing season was challenging. Unwelcome rains played havoc with some of our whites, but the thick-skinned Cabernet Franc handled the worst of the abuse. 15 months of barrel aging adds structure. This mid-weight wine has been blended with a bit of the heavier 2020 vintage to give it more intensity. Earthy aromas with a touch of cinnamon are sure to please.

Drink now or age for 2-3 years.
